In this context I usually call myself Aniel. Aniel like Walking with Time, are names I received when I shared life with a transmedium. It was at the end of the 90s. She developed a remarkable ability to get into a trance.

On my website – Haniel.se You can read some of these channeling. There is also the story about my ”awakening” through my first channeling. The document titled ” Den 13 Juli”. It states the origins of why I’m here today. We will keep on for quite some time tonight. I’m hard to stop when I have gained pace. We will have three chapters tonight.

The first chapter will try to kill the myth, of December 21st, 2012. And we will take a close look into the Mayanism.

In the second chapter we will have look in Calleman’s cycles, and the history of USA in relation to the Mayan Calendar. We will end with a piece of economics…

The third chapter will become a little more spiritual with info about the prophecies and what the Mayans themselves have to say today. It’s been a long journey for me. I received a direct proposal, a job offer, from the entities I call ”the upstairs office”. It was in autumn 1997. During a transsession, I was asked if I wanted to work with the ”upstairs office”. I asked: What should I do? Entity answered: you’re traveling around, eating at good restaurants and talk to people. Yeah, I said, I can do that. When do you wish to start, they asked. – NOW! I was broke at the moment. It will take a little longer, they said. It actually took six years from this time before I started lecturing, and before I learned what ”Walking with Time” really meant.

The origins of that I am here tonight, is one of the tasks I was given. I was asked to look in to the Mayan calendar. I received no more instructions. In the 90 ‘s we used a search engine called AltaVista.

90 % or more of what you could find in the search on ”Mayan calendar”, was about Dreamspell. I do not know if you know the Dreamspell? A man who I will introduce you to in a moment initiated Dreamspell. His name is José Argüelles. But Dreamspell is not a Mayan Calendar, but a well-marketed system that claims it.

I also found a book called ”Mayahypotesen”, written by a Swedish guy, Carl Johan Calleman.

The subtitle of the book was – The Swedes comming role in the birth of the Gaia in 2012. Calleman printed 1000 copies. I bought one of them and read it, and became fascinated by how he had tied together, the evolution on this planet with the evolution of consciousness.

All in relation to the cycles he had found in the Mayan calendar, that are based on the numbers 13 and 20. When I had read the book I called up the phone office and asked for the telephone number to Carl Johan Calleman. There are not many people with that name. So, I got the number right away, I called him up and we talked for hours.

I invited him to Gotland to give a lecture. We also arranged a course and after that, I was invited to Siljansn√§s in Dalarna. To a conference… ”The Light from the North.” We established a co-operation. I am a multimedia producer and trained in how to write scripts. I moved up to Dalarna, Falun and Calleman, on November11th, 1999 . Calleman’s had just finnished his first book in English: ”The Mayan Calendar – Solving the Greatest Mystery of Our Time”.

The proofs from the printer for last minute changes and myself, arrived to Callemans residence the very same day. His book was not quite finished. It had no cover for it so I did this one to him. Then I read the book I said to Calleman: This book is too difficult! So we agreed to trying to do a simpler book together. This was even before his first book in English was for sale in bookstores.

The working titles for our book become ”The Mayan Calendar for Dummies”. At this time I worked with IT and was used to this manuals to learn things. Often they had the subtitle – For Dummies. The essence of a book – For Dummies – is that without prior knowledge to the subject, with the help of the book, you can study from page to page and work in parallel, to teach yourself a specific system or software. We made nine revisions of the book. I edited Callemans language and did the graphics. We worked on an English issue. It was delivered 2003 and was published in the USA, 2004.

In connection with this release, I was asked to give lectures. Today’s book translated into fifteen languages. Calleman has become a widely known person for his interpretation on the Mayan calendar. We will talk more about Calleman’s interpretation in the Second Chapter.

I have also been involved in a third book on the Mayan calendar. In a book by Barbara Hand Clow. She wrote a book in the middle of the 90s – ”The Pleiadian Agenda”. It became something like a pillow for me at the end of the 90s. There was a lot of information, which reminded me of the same kind of energies, I got connected with through the transmedium. I became involved in ”The Mayan Code” in the same way, I was with Calleman’s first book in English. I did the cover. Actually the cover of ‘The Mayan Code ” was delivered as a suggestion to Calleman’s MCTC. But the publisher in the United States did not want to use this cover, and chose this instead. Barbara Hand Clow, who actually started the publishing company that Calleman’s books are published by, When she did a book of her own, translated to Swedish, she chose my ”old” cover for it.

One can say that I have been involved in the creation of three books about the Mayan calendar. But it is only in ”Transformation of Consciousness”, that I have had an editorial function and worked as a co-producer. To the other two, I just made the cover. Until a year ago, I was proud of, being involved in three books on the Mayan calendar. It provides a proven base for my knowledge…

But in 2009 I found a Pod cast, just before my spring tour got off in Scandinavia. It was lecture on the Internet, with Drunvalo Melchizedek. He says he has received a mandate from the man you see in the picture. This is Don Alejandro Perez Cirilio Oxlaj.

He is a shaman priest in the 13th generation, and president of the Mayan 440 tribes. He stated in 2009 that it have been 527 years of silence, When the Mayans have not said anything on the Mayan calendar or the Mayan prophecies. Yet, it have been written more then 630 books on the subject …

So this is what Drunvalo says, on behalf of Don Alejandro … ”The first thing Don Alejandro told me: Everything that we’ve read, heard or seen about the Mayan culture and calendar”, ”was not approved or written by the Mayan people,” ”or any of the counsil and is therefore not spoken by the Mayan poeple”. ”What we learned on the Mayan culture comes from the universities, governments”, ”religions, archaeologists and ordinary people as Jos√© Arg√ºelles”, ”and some of them that are Mayan”. ”But to be very clear:” The Mayan National council of Elders, in Guatemala, according to Don Alejandro” ”Has not said a single word in 527 years.”

In 527 years the mayans has been quiet! It spread a light blush on my cheeks, and I felt that perhaps we are guilty of cultural imperialism in a new form? Since I have been given lectures since 2003 and talked a lot about the Mayan Calendar System, based on information from western writers, as an ”self proclaimed expert” on the Mayan calendar, and on what the Mayan prophecies actually means. I had to admit to my part of the crime. We have not listened to what the Mayans themselves had to say!

So suddenly, I changed my lecture quite drastically. That’s probably why it is so long now, though it was long before… One of the myths that is circulating on the Mayan calendar. The biggest myth of them all, is the myth of the Mayan calendar end date. Actually it is only one calendar of all Mayan counts in this. They have a whole series of calendars, somewhere between fifteen and twenty of them. It’s about a count called the Long Count, ”Långa räkningen”, if you translate it into Swedish.

It has been interpreted and spread by Western archaeologists and ethnologists, and later, writers, to end on December 21st, 2012. Now, it is strongly denied by the Mayan Elders! If you do search Amazon.com for the year 2012; you’ll find 62 800 titles. I.e., books, DVDs, films, music albums, that all have the year 2012 as the theme. You can find more then 630 books on the Mayan calendar. None of these is confirmed by the Mayan Elders or contains information that has been confirmed by them.

How has it become so? Well, everything can actually be traced back to three persons. A trio of ethnologists and archaeologists named Goodman, Martinez and Thomson. Goodman and Martinez were active in the late 1800s. Archeology begins as late as the 1850s. They began digging out old settlements. Goodman was working as a writer for a newspaper run by Mark Twain, and had his Mayan interest as a sidekick. He went to Mesoamerica, made pictures of stelas, and tried to interpret the symbol system the Mayans used for their mathematical formulas. He concluded that the Long Count must begin August 11th, 3114 BC The Long Count there is a mathematical formula of 1 872 000 days.

If one adds these days on top of the start date, you will end up at December 21st, 2012. However, there is not any support from the Mayas to the idea, that the Mayan calendar will end that date. Many people have come to understand that it is simply a myth. It is a modern tale. It has led many people astray, they are having a misconception of the calendar’s purpose, and the End Date on December 21st, 2012 . The only codex, manuscript or remnant remaining in original from the Mayas thats points to something, a cross-reference between three Mayan calendars – translated to Gregorian dates between August 11th, 3114 BC and the December 21st, 2012.

There was a stone monument at a place called Tortuguero. Today it is a cement plant. But the stone is still around and it looks like this. As you can see in the picture, it is quite damaged. When archaeologists find a stela, a picture stone, they will put a paper over it. Using a pencil to make a copy of the stone. It looks like this. As you can see many of the symbols are injured. This is the symbol of Bak’tun. A Bak’tun considered – by Western interpreters – to be a period of 144 000 days. The Long Count contains 13 Bak’tuns. This monument is the only evidence from the Mayas.

The only remnant from that suggests that there is a special link, between the three calendars on a specific mayan date. It has been interpreted to correspond to the December 21st, 2012. The three calendars symbols you see at the top. ”The Thirteen Bak’tun will end on 4 Ahau” 4 Ahau is a Tzol’kin date in a 260-day calendar that we are just about to study. ”Three of Uniiw (K’ank’in)” is another calendar date in a Count called the Haab calendar. ”The 13 Bak’tuns” is the count of the Tun-system. I will shortly explain these three different systems. The three systems work in parallel. The inscription indicates a date when the calendars are in a particular position, relative to each other.

Since Westerners have interpreted it to the December 21st, 2012. What should then happen? The only known remnant from the Mayan calendar: Tortogero Nr 6 states: ”??” (the stone is broken) (It will be) the descent ?? (the stone is broken) of ”Nine of the support ?? God (s) to ??” (the stone is broken) It is not as exhaustive The monument was translated in 2006. Before we could not find anything of Maya’s original writings, showing this date. The sources are from the writings of the Aztecs that they spaniards have translated and interpreted, as Mayan. To end on the December 21st, 2012. José Argüelles passed away in March 2011; 70 years old.

He was actually the one starting the New Age concept of the Calendar. He wrote a book in 1987 called The Mayan Factor. It was the first time a Western writer described the Mayan calendar as a spiritual tool for us all. The Mayan calendar suddenly had a huge boost. Arg√ºelles became the Primus Motor and arranger for The Harmonic Convergence, in 1987. It was the first globally orchestrated meditation in the alternative world. Thousands of people meditating in the same day, to create a ”harmonic convergence”.

A fusion. Many of the writers who have been influential since the 90 ‘s and 20′s in the spiritual literature, like Barbara Hand Clow, Barbara Marciniak and James Redfield, who wrote ”The Celestine Prophecy”; use to indicate the Harmonic Convergence, August 15th and 16th, 1987, as their personal breakthrough. Then they chose to be a writer for channeled messages. José Argüelles presented a calendar he called the Dreamspell. Dreamspell was promoted as the Mayan calendar. Only in 2004, he became convinced that the Mayans never used a calendar as Dreamspell. Dreamspell is a Moon-calendar and the idea is not bad, since everyone feels the moon’s cycles. Many cultures have had calendars based on lunar movement. But not the Mayans.

He simply took the mayan symbols from the Tzol’kin, and used them in his own calendar system. Dreamspell was launched and spread during the 80′s and 90′s as the true Mayan calendar. Dreamspell is completely out of phase in relation to the Mayan Tzol’kin date. Argüelles thesis about the Mayan calendar is that we must use a harmonized calendar. Instead of a disharmonic calendar, which he considers our Gregorian system is. The Gregorian system is made up of 28-day, 30-days and 31-days months. Jos√© Arg√ºelles argued that the world would never be better than their calendar systems. We must follow harmonious cycles to feel balance.

Argüelles worked hard with his mission until his death. His wife Lloydine is still active. They have renamed the calendar to the Thirteen Moon Calendar. You can find information on the web.

Another person who has been influential in creating the myth on the December 21st, 2012 is Terrence McKenna. McKenna did not use the Mayan calendar as input for his ideas, but the Chinese system, I Ching. Carl Jung translated this system into German in the 30′s. Today, in Swedish it’s called ”Förvandlingarnas book”. The book is an oracle to use for divination. You use three coins and hit the coins six times, if the coins have the same side up, three heads or tails, you draws a full bar. If any of the coins differ, you draw a broken bar. One is the symbol of Yin and the other of Yang. You make six rounds and then you get a combination of six lines Which together form a hexagram. In the I Ching, there are 64 Hexagram. This means that there are only 64 answers to the questions you might ask. When using the I Ching, you will be amazed as how well you get a answer to your question even though it really only has 64 replies. The number of lines in the 64 hexagrams. 64 times 6, so you end up at 384. This corresponds Argüelles system with 13 months or 13 lunar months,

When Terrence McKenna developed his calculator he used a computer at Berkeley. He made a mathematical formula to the I Ching system and paste it on history. A formula he called the Time Wave Zero. It is based on two components. One component called – Novelty. Novelty means a period when there are new ideas and happenings for humanity. The second component called – Habit. When we are in the state of habit we just repeat old patterns. It goes on in the old track. Novelty was founded on events that had taken place on the planet for the very first time. To mention two of them: The Moon landing is a clear peak of Novelty as is the first atomic bomb in 1945. They were both peaks of Novelty. The mathematical formula constructed by McKenna, Time Wave Zero is a fractal time rhythm. You can apply it to different time periods. His curve showing the Habit will flattens out at the end of 2012. We will have a state of only Novelty with only new things to happen after year 2012 . It will change our mentality. When McKenna first presented his system, Time Wave Zero, it ended in early November, 2012. He adjusted his system after the ”Harmonic Convergence”. It was adapted to Arg√ºelles system so it would also would end on December 21st, 2012.

There is no doubt that Terrence McKenna and José Argüelles, has created the New Age myth of the December 21st, 2012. They based their data on a trio of scientists, two who was active during the 1800s and Eric S.Thomson, who established The End Date in 1937. He was the absolute authority in the Mayan field until he died, 1976. After that, it has not really happened anything new.

Another man, John Major Jenkins, has maybe been the most eager, when it comes to study and debate writings on the Mayan calendar. He has made a whole series of books and DVDs. When discussing 2012, if someone should produce a documentary, he seems to have been the given interview victim. John Major Jenkins has his own theory about what the Mayan calendar really means. He claims that the Mayan calendar End Date, reflects a Galactic Conjunction. He claims it will take place for the first time in 25 800 years at the winter solstice on December 21th, 2012. According to him this is what the Mayan calendar is all about.

This is Jenkins’s personal interpretation and the theory is very well spread. There are many millions of people who heard about his theories.

The guy I worked with looks like this and his name is Carl Johan Calleman. His Maya hypothesis, we have already touched. I read the book and contacted him. ”Solving the Greatest Mystery of Our Time,” was the book I made the cover of and ”Transformation of Consciousness” – I was involved in the production. Calleman presents another theory on the Mayan calendar. It’s not confirmed by the Maya Elders. His theory says that consciousness evolves, with the evolution of the Nine Underworlds. His calendar does not end on December 21st, 2012 but on the October 28th, 2011. Calleman has his own deadline of the Mayan calendar. We will look at Calleman’s theses in the Second Chapter.

So, what is the Mayans and what are there origin? Maya is one of the lost high cultures in what we now call Mexico. They inhabited the Yucatan peninsula, Columbia, Honduras, Guatemala and Panama. These cultures have had a common denominator. They appear to have used the basic calendar of 260 days – the Tzol’kin They built pyramids and cities of stone. The oldest remains are after The Olmecs. This population group with the earliest traces from about 1700 BC The traces of them ends at 400′s A.D. There are actually three periods, three waves of growth on the continent. We have the pre-classical, the classical and the post-classic Maya periods. It’s like their cultures have thrived up, fallen, flourished, fallen, flourished and then subsided. The high cultures have occurred in three waves.

The post-classic Maya period was between 843 AD and 1220 AD. Already 300 years before The Conquistadors arrived in Mesoamerica the Mayan position as the dominant high culture is already over and done. The Aztecs had conquered the whole area but had embraced the Mayan astronomy, mathematics, cosmology, calendar systems, etc. The made it their own. And this is very interesting. The basis of these civilizations is a 260-day calendar as we will see. The oldest inscription found in Mesoamerica, with a Mayan Calendar date is Olmec from 600 BC.

When the conquistadors arrived in the early 1500s They burned all records of the Mayans. Except four single codices. All are calendars. They burned down their entire libraries. It was foolish, I think… If you look at the culture of the pre-classical period, they built cities like Izapa and Monte Alban, Palenque and Copan, and many of them is dating back to 1200 BC When we enter the next wave: The classical period from 250 BC to 900 AD. The blue pyramids represent cities, there are already abandoned. For some reason they abandoned their infrastructure, and they could build a new city only a few miles away from a abounded one.

Europeans have always recycled infrastructures. If we conquer a house or city, we don’t mind taking over it and use it. But there is something about the Maya, that made them totally give up their cities and restart. The third wave is up to the 1220s. All the blue cities are already abandoned at the entrance of the period. This is 300 before the Conquistadors arrived. They abandoned the plains. Overall it has been found 26 000 towns or villages of stone with pyramids. 26 000 ancient locations!

When a Westerner thinks of pyramids most people associate it with Egypt, right? If we then consider that in Egypt there are between3-400 remnants of pyramids, even if not all is as well preserved as the Great Pyramid. And in Mesoamerica there are 26 000 pieces! What has driven our perspective of worldview to this? If you thinks of a city as Monte Alban. The city was founded in 1000 BC and abandoned 1350 AD. It was a city for 2500 years? How old is this town? Stockholm had 750-year anniversary in 2002, and Luleå as town is a little more then 400 years… Can you understand what great high culture this once was? We barely know anything about it. It’s pretty awesome.

If we would do a thought experiment – to turn the boat … We know that it was the Europeans who traveled to Mesoamerica, and conquered the Indian tribes. Their actions took the lives of 30 million people and destroyed all of the mayan books. Consider, if the boat instead would have taken the Aztecs to Europe, and they had done the same things with Europe, As we did to them, Then we would be sitting here today, without knowing anything about Christianity, nor the Vikings, nor about the Middle Ages, except what was carved in stone!

It is only those sources that are available to retrieve information about the Mayan Calendar, the Mayan Prophecy, their cosmology and other things.

The Mayan calendar then, what is it? Well, the Mayan Calendar is not a calendar, but it is a system of calendars, and various counts. Some symbolize the movement of celestial bodies. They all have one thing in common. The most important calendar called Tzol’kin! It is a 260-day calendar. Tzol’kin means ”Count of days” (or suns). It is also the Mayan Astrological System. Those of you with us tomorrow, will have the Tzol’kin curves calculated by Karin.

Tzol’kin means on counting of suns or counting of days. For Maya, it was 260 days, each with a new energy. Then began a new 260-days cycle. To understand how this works, we make a parallel with our Western system. The Gregorian calendar uses the name on days in a week; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, then start it all over, right? We have seven separate names of our weekdays. Maya had had 260 different ”names” for days. Day energies. Then it starts all over. The Tzol’kin calendar controls all the other Mayan Calendars. We will soon look in to it. The construction of Tzol’kin is actually two different principles that are symbolized as two gears. Here we have a large cogwheel with 20 pieces of teeth. 20 days or glyphs represented by separate cogs. The 20 day-glyphs are a symbol of growth, from the smallest to the largest in 20-levels.

On the consciousness level, ranging from the smallest cell with awareness, that will grow, and become, larger and larger organisms. Consciousness grows bigger and bigger. When you reach the twentieth level, You must imagine a consciousness that reaches the whole cosmos. The Wankan Tanka, or the Great Spirit or whatever you want to call it. This is the Twenty Count. If you’re have been practicing Indian shamanism like a sweat lodge or other ceremonies. Then you frequently might have used The Twenty Count to remember all parts of the Cosmos. You could say that it represents twenty different principles of consciousness in the Cosmos.

Each of us is connected to one of the 20 day-glyphs. It is our Day sign. There are only twenty of them. So, in Mayan Astrology there is only 260 different characters you can belong to. This is similar in Western Astrology: You can belong to one of the twelve signs, but then you have to consider the Ascendant and other aspects. This allows a personal horoscope to be quite extensive. But with Mayan astrology, there are 260 different archetypes that people could belong to. The second aspect, the small gear, has thirteen teeth.

The symbols are the Mayan numbers where a point is 1, 2 points is 2, 3 points is 3, a bar is 5, 1 bar and 1 point will be 6… This is the simplest symbol of the principles that represent the Thirteen Gods of Creation. They are walking through the Thirteen Heavens. The Thirteen Gods of Creation describes a procession from Seed to Fruit. This is seven pulses of growth and six pulses of rest. A growth rate of Seven days and Six nights make up Thirteen. It is interesting when we go back to Old Testament, 1:st Genesis. It says – God created the world in seven days. Though he did not. He created the world in six days and on the seventh he rested. It also says in the Bible that it was night after the first day, it was night after the 2:nd day and a night after all 7 days.

If you add the 6 nights to the 7 days in 1:st Genesis, you also end up with the number of 13. So maybe you can claim that the Mayas 13 Gods of Creation describes the very same occasion which is also described in the Book of Genesis. The number of 13 seems to be the rhythm of all creative growth in creation. Each of us is connected to one of the Thirteen Gods of Creation, and to one of the Twenty Day-glyphs. This combination is your Mayan horoscope and to the Maya, this seems very important. It was so important that your birth date would become part of your name. In my case I would have been called Ola, ”Seven Dog”. The day I was born, my dad could have ran off to the shaman priest to ask: Okay, now I have this ”Seven Dog” on the neck, what do I do? Then the shaman would advise whether I was born to become a priest or peasant; scavenger or to clean pyramids, or what my path was. It was a fateful to what sign you belonged to. It was crucial to what one might have in employment and the role a person would play in the Mayan society. Karin will be here tomorrow and talk more about personal Mayan astrology.

The Tzol’kin builds all cycles in all the Mayan Calendars. All cycles and the Mayan Calendar are based on the numbers 13 and 20. There is a calendar called the ”Tun”. Tun means rock. It is he prophetic and spiritual calendar of 360 days. When a Shaman priest or a chieftain had been a number of ”Tuns” at office, Maybe 13 or 20 Tun, sometimes they erected a memorial stone or a pyramid to commemorate history. All of the longer cycles are also based on the 360 days ”Tun”, in the Mayan mathematics. The Tun-system, the 360-day calendar is based on the Tzol’kin-count of 260 days. So, you could add a gear with 360 teeth in this image. They would meet aprox. every 52:nd years. It’s called a Calendar Round.

We have one more calendar to talk about, used frequently on stelas. It is called the Haab. Haab was an agricultural calendar of 365 days; 365 days is approximately equivalent to the Gregorian system. It describes almost exactly one revolution of Earth around the Sun. Maybe less important but Haab also returns with Tzol’kin every 52:nd year. These three calendars were represented at Tortuguero 6 Monument. It is these three calendars reunion that Westerners have interpreted as December 21st, 2012.

The 20 Day-glyphs looks like this. They describe a procession from the smallest to the largest in twenty steps. As you can see, they are grouped into four different families, in four different colors and as four different directions. Among all native peoples it can be said that directions, all directions, represents different spiritual meanings. This applies not only of indigenous peoples. All Christian churches are built with the choir in the east. Muslims are making their five prayers a day, turning toward Mecca. So, orientation is definitely nothing that is only found among indigenous peoples, but also in all of the world religions.

Tomorrow I will talk some more about the World Tree. World Tree is affected in a certain way depends on the day and direction. Each of us is connected to one of the 20 day-glyphs and to one of the 4 directions. In my case, I am of the tenth character in the 20-Count. I am the Dog. Maya uses the symbolism of the dog for this character. We can never make us an idea of why the ancient Mayans, chose the dog to represent this day? There are some cultural differences. If I was born Arab or in India, it would have been an insult to be named a dog. They are considered to be dirty animals and incarnated thieves. We can not imagine Mayas mindset in the creation of the calendar. We must talk to the Maya to learn…

The thirteen gods of creation looks this way. We have 13 Creation Gods who walks through the 13 Heavens. Each day we enter a new heaven. What we see is the aspect of Aztecs for the deities. What Maya called them know we do not because all codices got burned in 1500s.

However, we know that Quetzalcoatl by the Mayans is called Kukulkan, and describes a light deity associated with Venus. We do not know what Xiuhtecuhtli, God of Fire and Time used to be called by the Mayans. But the interesting thing is actually the energy these deities represent. Assume the growth from seed to fruit goes in seven pulses of ”go” and six pulses of rest. You sow a seed on the first day, watering it on the second day. The seed germinates in the third, you water on the fourth, get a stalk on the fifth, water on the sixth and on the seventh the petals is up and breaks out. When we see the leaves of the plant, we can identify it. Then you can begin to imagine what it will become the fruit of the plant.

It works the same way with mammals. A young foster in a women’s body, when pregnant just a couple of weeks, we are unable to separate the child from the fetus growing in an elephant. Are you with me? All mammals appear similar to a particular week when the entire DNA explosion occurs. So this continues, germ, stem, leaf, crown, bud, flower and fruit. This is a cycle of thirteen days.

You could say that from the day when we are born there are two bio curves that affect us. One goes into a thirteen days interval and the other goes with a twenty days interval and at certain points they meet. For example, every 260 days, when you have your Tzol’kin-day. In both the Aztecs and Maya mythology, this was non physical Gods, so they were not physical but they had something called a totem. Totems as symbols of the Creation gods were mainly birds. If you walked in the woods and saw a falcon; you had a close contact with Chalchiutlicue.

It was seen as an omen of divinity and it is interesting how they have chosen totem animals. Almost all are birds. It starts with small birds: blue hummingbird, green hummingbird, hawk, quail, owl, etc. On the Top of the Pyramid, in the seventh heaven, or, if you prefer, on the fourth day they have replaced the bird with a butterfly! The butterfly in western esotericism is the symbol for metamorphosis A butterfly lives in three different stages: caterpillar, chrysalis and the butterfly as the final product. Occasions on the top of the pyramid in the cycles, we will look deeper in to it in the second chapter, On top of pyramid is where we find the paradigm shift. This is where the new ideas coming down and is where the future world is getting shaped. It evolves as we walk down the pyramid. That’s what sets the game rules. This is where we find the new ideas and I will show how in a moment. Esoteric symbolism is pretty interesting. It is fairly close to us, but we do not see it because we have become accustomed to it. It is much like the ideas of pyramids, that makes one think of Egypt, though we really should think about Mesoamerica because of the numbers of pyramids built there.

What is this thing? Menorah it is called. It is a Jewish symbol. In Sweden we usually refer to as the seven-branch candlestick. It symbolizes Gods creation in Seven days. Each candle symbolizes one of the Seven days of God’s creation. The interesting thing is that we call it a seven-branched candelabrum. But, when you look in to the spaces between the candles, which symbolizes the six nights between the seven days of creation. This is the ”real” hidden symbol. So this is not really the symbol for the number 7. It’s the symbol for the number 13! This is partly how the esoteric language of symbols works.

Among the Mayan Calendrics, the number 13 is the most sacred of all numbers. It is the number of fruit, the seventh day, perfection, balance and harmony. In Maya it was symbolized by the dual divinity. This is a masculine and a feminine figure, Ometeotl/Omecinatl. You see, they are carrying the final product, the fruit! They are those who put it all together. Finalizing a creation cycle, and then it starts all over again. If you want to interpret the esoteric language of symbols, one can argue that this symbol from Asia, The yin and yang symbol. There we also have a dark and a light character symbolizing, balance, harmony and perfection, right? Could it also be interpreted to be the symbol of the number thirteen?

If you go to the USA, 13 is a dreaded and considered as an unlucky number. Constructors do not name the thirteen floor in skyscrapers. You go from floor twelve to fourteen, and it is kind of standard. You can’t find a hotel room in the US with the room number 13 and that’s something of a paradox. If when you look at a dollar bill, created in 1914 , it contains the number13 in 9 different symbolic form. The number 13 symbolized in nine different versions. It is quite interesting. What is a calendar? Well, all calendars have two things in common. They have a Logical Term and they have a Symbol. This is a calendar application on my computer called Calendar X. It displays the current date in about 20 different calendar systems. The one we use is the Gregorian calendar.

Today we have June 10 th, 2011. The Gregorian calendar’s Logical Term is the Time of Earth’s orbit to the sun. The time it takes for Earth to do one orbit around the sun. I call it – the Logical Term. The Gregorian system is based on the Julian system. Instituted by Julius Caesar before the birth of Jesus. He was clever and made a 365-day calendar. Every four years, it was a leap year or LEAP-DAY. Earth’s orbit around the Sun is not 365,25 days. but it is 365,24 days.

In the 1580s, when Pope Gregory XIII discovered that the Vernal Equinox, in relation to the Easter was about to really lose location. They were forced to make a calendar adjustment otherwise Easter eventually would happen at midsummer. The Catholic Church didn’t want that. It should have been degenerating for the faith of religion. They made a calendar adjustment and changed the technology, of how to count days in a leap year. Since then we will not have Leap years every four years, statically. The centuries that is evenly divisible by four is not leap year any more. We now have a calendar system like this. Today 365,2422 days a year.

The Logical Term for both the Julian and the Gregorian calendar is the sun. What is then the symbol of the Gregorian calendar? What was it that happened when the calendar once started? What happened 2011 years ago? According to the Catholic Church, should be added. Jesus’ birth! Then you have understood this Logical Terms and Symbol!

If we go down a notch, we find the Jewish calendar. They have now year 5771, it is the month Sivan, and it is the eighth day of the month. Just below is the Islamic calendar. It’s year 1432, the month of Rajab and the eight day. These two calendars are different from the Gregorian and the Julian system. They do not have the sun or the earth’s orbit around the sun as a Logical Term, but are dominated by lunar cycles. Since we have eight days in both, it means that nine days ago the new moon was new (The Dark moon). It is their Logical Term. 5771 years is the planets longest count, but the calendar has not existed for 5771 years. It is a post-construction. It started in 300′s AD, in the same they also created the Talmud – Judaism. The literalists Jews.

But what do you think it symbolizes? What do you think happened 5771 years ago? Once again we have to go to the books of Genesis. No one dares to guess? No one has read the Old Testament? This Calendar symbolizes The Fall. The moment when Adam and Eve was eating the apple, The forbidden fruit; discovered they were naked; Learned to distinguish between The Good and The Evil and was covering themselves with a fig leaf. God understood they have eaten of The Forbidden Fruit and they were banished from The Paradise. That is the symbol of the Jewish calendar.

What do you think the Islamic calendar has as symbol? It’s year 1432…? It’s about Mohammed, The Prophet. What did he do? He moved! He took the bus from Mecca to Medina and Islam took off. All calendars you see here are based on either of the orbit of the Earth, it’s cycle around the sun or the moon’s cycle around the earth, except for the Mayan Calendars. They are based on the Tzol’kin. A rhythm of 260 days. There is no astronomical rhythm corresponding to the rate of 260 days; They had something else before their eyes, when they decided the base of their calendar systems. This has provoked a lot of speculation.

There is also another way in what the Mayan calendar differs from other calendar systems. Mayan calendar is not a count. It’s a countdown! It’s pretty much as they do at the Cape Carnival, when they count down a rocket. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 and Bang! They press the button and the rocket take off. That is exactly what I believe the calendar is waiting for. It’s just that the Mayans have lost their count a bit. But we will all soon be part of it. We will analyze the Mayan and Hopi prophecies, and talk about them in the Third Chapter to night.

The Mayan Calendar Logical Term is a 260-day count without any astronomical counterpart. They had something else in mind. It was here Carl Calleman, Ph.D. in Physical Biology hit the Jackpot. If you holds a PhD in microbiology, you learn how the cells of the planet have developed, when humanity was created, etc. This is what he studied and become successful cancer researcher in the process. He found similar patterns in the physical human body, evolution and the Mayan Calendrics. Our body contains exactly 260 different cell types.

It will be even more interesting when we consider what the bible says; ”God created the World in His image”. One may also consider James Lovelock, who in the s wrote the theory, – The Gaia hypothesis in the 70s. He argued that humans are in fact like cells, of a larger organism, the planet, which is called the Gaia. The Mayans have in their astrological beliefs, the idea that there are only 260 different characters, a person can choose as an incarnation. Are you with me? It’s pretty exciting!

Looking for the numerology in the physical body, there are many numbers that synchronizes with the Mayan Calendar. We have the thirteen major joints. We have three on each arm, three on each leg and the neck – Thirteen! We have ten fingers, ten toes – Twenty! Calleman knows this, since he has a PhD in physical biology. He claims we only have 20 amino acids that are in full control, of all the processes taking place in the physical body. There are only 20 basic amino acids for the whole thing.

The Mayan Calendar Symbol, then? If you go to the Temple of inscription in Palenque, Mexico, Remember all records were destroyed. There is an inscription which translated would be something like this: ”On the First Day, the First Father, raised the World Tree and established the Four Directions, so light could enter. If you suck on this phrase a bit….

What does this really mean? Well, on the First Day, the First Day is the First Day of the Mayan calendar, right? There came the First Father … The first father must be a counterpart to Adam of the Genesis? He is establishing the World Tree. We should not talk so much about the World Tree today, The World Tree is actually a symbol of the non-physical part of us. Call it soul or spirit or whatever you want. Okay, he establish the World Tree, and then he sets up the Four Directions and The Light could enter. Put simply, one could say that on the First Day, the First Father, corresponding to Adam, turn on the lights and life goes from a state of No Light – to Light. Are you with me? Do you understand this argument? We can describe it like if all the people who were on the planet at that time, went through something similar and life changing. It was a change of Consciousness! Are you with me? You go from one mindset to another state of mindset. It’s like when you come to the North of Sweden and it’s daylight at midnight, and you are not used to it. You will learn and adapt to the new reality very fast .

Okay, now we remember what symbol the Jews had in their calendar, The symbol of the start? It was The Fall in the book of Genesis. Again, Adam and Eve eat of the forbidden fruit; They discovered that they were naked, they learn to distinguish between what is good and evil, and therefore they got kicked out of paradise… Is this not a symbol to a major change of Consciousness?

The Jews have backdated their calendar to start at 3761 BC, but they created it in 300 ‘s AD. They moved their start moment (symbol) 4000 years back in Time. Ask your self: Might it be the story of this planet, that something special happened some 5200 years ago? Something that on the American continents legends and myths. are described in one way, and in Europe and the Middle East, the same event is described in another way? It is perhaps the same phenomenon? And only two different ways to describe it. According to the end of the Mayan Calendar it is soon its time again. Understand my thinking? The Mayan calendar perhaps reflects the map of changes in consciousness? We will look deeper in to that in the second chapter.

When I did my lecture series last spring, before I had begun my reformation, On this page of my presentation, I presented, eight to ten different proposals from different authors, about the 260-days and what is the hub of the Mayan calendar. This rhythm is lacking a physical counterpart. Something all the other calendars that are available on the planet have, There is not a sun or a moon or a planet, like Venus or other, governing the 260-day Mayan Calendar. All Calendars, except the Mayan calendar, which has a 260-day rhythm,

In 2010, Don Alejandro, the shaman priest and president of the Mayan Elders, had his pod cast in August. He said that the Tzol’kin is a reflection of a human pregnancy! In the Western perspective a pregnancy is aprox. 280 days, and not 260-days! We count the weeks from the last menstrual period, are you with me? Maybe that the Mayans had a better control over the moment of conception then us? Maybe they knew what day that ”the shot” really took.

The Mayan calendar and Tzol’kin, the cycle of the Thirteen Gods of Creation, migrate through the thirteen heavens , and describes a procession of seven pulses and six resting states. Seven days and Six nights to meet 20 Day-signs, describing a procession from the smallest to the largest in twenty levels. Every 260-days it starts all over and every other Mayan Calendar, are based on the Tzol’kin pulse. All Mayan Calendars are therefore based on, the various combinations of the numbers 13 and 20. The smallest cycle, the thirteen-day cycle called Trecena in Mexico. It describes a Mayan ”week”. Mayan ”month” units is a Uinal and have 20 days. A cycle of the Thirteen Gods of Creation and a cycle of Twenty day-signs. Our personal Mayan bio curve and personal horoscope, derives from the day we were born and the rate of 13 and 20 days cycles. You can find the calendar rhythm from the year you were born. Your birthday is important. Then add a 13-day pulse in parallel with a 20-day pulse in repetition and your will find your major ”shifts”. 13 days and 20 days cycles, are two continuous rhythms. It is the Mayan Calendar at its essence.

Tzol’kin is the base, also to the Haab calendar, a 365-day calendar. The 365-day calendar is actually based, on a Tun-calendar ( 360-days) plus an extra period of five days. The five extra days is called Wayeb. According to what have been written about the Mayan calendar by Western interpreters, Wayeb are days outside of time and are filled with bad luck. It is preferable not to get out of bed or set the fire. Not make any decisions or go on first date. There are a lot of things you should not do as the Western writers proclaim.

Now, when Don Alejandro, president of Maya’s 440 tribes, gives his own pod cast in August og 2010, He says: – Wayeb! Then they shall dance and meditate, hang out with friends, party and have fun. That is what we might call a minor language problems!

Today, nothing about the Mayan calendar is chrystal clear! I was much more sure of the things three years ago… The ”Tun” calendar is 360-days and ”Tun” means stone. All greater cycles of the Mayans are based on 20-potencies of the ”Tuns” 360-days. The next cycle in size is called Ka’tun. You take 20 times 360, and you will end up on 7 200 days. The Ka’tun is made of 20 Tun’s. 7 200 days corresponds to 19,7 Gregorian years. If we take 20 times 7 200 gives us 144 000 days. This cycle is called Bak’tun. Remember the Tortuguero 6 monument, with the 13 Bak’tun inscription, that would end on the 4 Ahau, 3 Kankin? We are in the 13 Bak’tun and a Bak’tun is aprox. 394 years. It began somewhere in the early 1600s, but we do not really know when it should end, so to find out when it will end, we have do analyze the prophecies. We will do that in the third chapter. The Long Count then? According to Western researchers, the Long Count will be 5200 Tun, which is equivalent to aprox. 5125 years. When Don Alejandro held his pod cast in August of 2010, He said, – No, it’s 5200 Haab! (5200 years) Between 5200 Tun and 5200 Haab. It differs 75 years! Don Alejandro says that the End might be 75 years ahead. Before the calendar ends!

We will look at this in a moment and then we take a break. We have been at this steam for 50 minutes. Tzol’kin as Maya called it, is all of Mesoamerica’s Sacred Calendar. It seems to have been used by all the tribes, including the Cherokees. They are not considered as Central American Tribe but North American tribe.

Tzol’kin reflects the rhythm of creation in numbers 13 and 20. In Tzol’kin there are 260 different characters, which corresponds to the number of 260 cells, in the physical body. It determines, or rather, it affects, what we call The Mind over Matter. Mind over matter means that everything in the physical world, has been preceded by a thought. That is including the chair you are sitting on right now. There is someone who has put it there so that you can sit on it now. Are you with me? It takes thought to sustain the world’s structure.

We must look in to how the Long Count not is a Count. It’s a Countdown! Researchers have stated that it will end in 2012 on December 21st. It should then be, according to Western people, the end of a 5125 years long cycle. While the Mayan elders say: No, it is 5200 years! They idea is based on a Bak’tun translated into 144 000 days. The Ka’tun is translated to 7200 days, The Tun is translated to 360 days. The Uinal is a 20-days Count, and the Kin, is the current day in the 20-day count – Uinal.

We can describe it if we use Western numerals: If you buy a new car, you have hopefully, your kilometer reading is 0.0.0.0.0 If you drive 99 meters next step will be like this: 0.0.0.1.0 When it gets up to 999 meters, next step will be: 0.0.1.0.0 It is called the decimal system. The Maya used the number system was a vigesimalt. From 0.0.0.0.0 to 13.0.0.0.0 It’s broken down in a slightly different way.

The blue numbers symbolizes the 20 day-glyphs; The progression from the ”small” to the ”big” in 20 steps. It keeps track of which of the twenty day-signs we have for to day. The second number keeps track of the number of 20-day periods in the 360-day cycle. The third number keeps track of the number of 360-day periods in the Ka’tun – 7200 days. The fourth number is which 7200-day periods there is in the Bak’tun of 144 000 days, and the fifth number keeps track of 144 000-day periods in the Long Count. You are with me?

Heavy ideas after an hour at this speed, it gets a little swing in your head, I know… You can put it like this: Here we have five different ways to describe the same thing. For you to understand how this interacts, We might say that we have a 100 kr. We can change it in to various combinations of coins and notes of different values. You can have two 50 kr notes, you can have twenty 5 kr coins; You can have ten 10 kr coins, you can have five 20 kr notes or you can have a hundred 1 kr coins. All of this adds up to a 100 kr. This is five different Calenders describing the Long Count, Each count describing a different aspect of the Long Count. It is the Count that according to Western statements, will end on December 21st, 2012.

The Long Count should be 5125 years, Corresponding to 1 872 00 days. It is the same as 13 Bak’tun of 144 000 days. Which is the same as 260 Ka’tuns. A Ka’tun is 7200 days or 19,7 years. Which is the same as 5200 Tun. 5125 years. A Tun is 360 days. And there are: 7200 Tzol’kin laps of 260-days is a 13 Bak’tun cycle. Are you with me?

All divisions are calendars in the complex Mayan calendrical system. How have we then arrived at the end date of December 21st, 2012? There was a man in the 1600s, named Scalier, who did not have anything to do with the Mayan calendar. He was strictly religious and he believed that the world was created on monday, January 1:st, 4713 BC. Since that day until today it has been 2 455 722 days; which might be a pretty useless knowledge? But this is what we call the Julian Day Number. The Julian Day number lists a new number every day at noon, when the sun crosses the Zero Greenwich Meridian. Then it is adding a new number. The Julian Day Count. Science uses it when they want to correlate various calendars with each other. When they want to know what Gregorian day it is, on a special day in the Jewish or the Mayan calendar, etc. They use the Julian Day Number. This will give them different dates of, for example, celestial happenings, that are recorded in the world’s history, such as an eclipse or a comet. When appearing in the history with two calendar systems references, we use it for understanding that it happened on this date in the Julian Day Number. If the same phenomenon is shown, in the various records of various cultures. They will get a corresponding hint of the JDN.

Well, the trio Goodman / Martinez / Thomson, they decided to correlate the first day of the Mayan calendar, to 584 283 days into the Julian Day Count. (The January BC + 584 283 days,) Which corresponds to August 11:th, 3114 BC. Then we add the 1 872 00 days, and then we end up on December 21:st, 2012 .

Today, the Long Count looks this way: 12 Bak’tun, 19 Ka’tun, 18 Tuns, 17 Uinal and the tenth day in the ruling Uinal. It is the eighth day of the month named Zots in the 365-day calendar of Haab. We have Tzol’kin-energy of 3 Ahau – 3 Light. This is the highest aspect of 20, so it’s great to finish my tour on such a day!

Now it’s like this: The Maya say that the Tun-Count, the foundation to the December 21:st, 2012 date; was lost in the 800′s AD, when the Mayans abandoned the lowlands. This is when they lost the their count. Since the 1600s, we also can find variations in the Haab calendar dates.

Many people have agreed on this 260-day rhythm of Tzol’kin. That we have the energy of ”3 Ahau” to day. It has been traced back, continuously, more than 2500 years. It’s a bit like if we know what day it is today, but we do not know what date or week it is. If this idea is true about the Long Count, I hope I give reasons to believe its not so today. If the calendar is ending on December 21:st, 2012, Whenever it happens, it will surely be the mirror of 7200 laps of Tzol’kin in the Long Count as well. We do not know today whether we are in Tzol’kin round number 7100 or whether we are at the 7196 round. We are simply lost in count!

Science people say: – Today we have: 12 Baktun,19 Ka’tun,18Tun, 17 Uinal and 10 Kin.

But there are many Academics in the Garden of our Lord!

The Long Count is said to be based on 13 Bak’tuns of 144 000 days each. Like I said, 1 872 00 days. If you do a quick search on Wikipedia, one finds the following: Smiley argues that the calendar started in 3392 BC, and ends in year 1734 . Then you have the entire line of suggestions here. The most widely spread is the GMT that we’ve talked about – December 21:st, 2012. The second most widely spread is the one who says – December 23:rd, 2012. But there are alternative dates from year 1734 until year 2532 as the Mayan Calendar End Date!

Now, it might be interesting to find out what the Mayan people, themselves, are saying about this subject, right? That’s the spirit of this lecture, isn’t it?. This is what the Elders speak: ”The Years They is talking about: That it Will Happen in 2011, 2012, 2013, Nothing of that is going to happen! I say it again! The Mayan Calendar has nothing to do with the Gregorian calendar. One example: We are talking about in the Gregorian time it is 2010 . In the Mayan Calendar we are finalizing a count, that is 5200 years. We are also finalizing a Fifth Cycle. The Fifth Cycle of the Sun!

What they are saying is that we are finishing the 5:th period of the Sun. And we must shift to a new period of the Sun. We will talk about that in the third chapter. Overall, one can summarize the first chapter in this way: That the Mayan calendar will end on October 28:th, 2011, or December 21:st, 2012 has ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT from the Mayans. It’s just a Western scholarship idea. Now I have talked for more then an hour. Time for coffee and stretching legs!
